Hudson County Community College (HCCC) offers more than 300 daytime, evening and weekend credit and non-credit courses for more than 50 degree and certificate programs, including our flagship culinary and nursing programs. We also offer online degree opportunities, making attending HCCC very convenient for any lifestyle. Our small class size and 18:1 student/teacher ratio guarantee you will receive the individual attention you need and deserve.
Best of all, applying to HCCC is as easy as one, two, three! Our open enrollment policy and rolling admissions make it very convenient to apply and begin studying when you are ready to start. ACT and SAT tests are not required to apply at HCCC.
The first step in applying to HCCC is to take a few minutes to complete our simplified application form. Then, you’ll take a placement test, which is required of all new students (this is a standard test used by all community colleges in New Jersey). Lastly, you will apply for financial aid.
Every step of the way, HCCC’s qualified representatives are ready and willing to help you and work with you to meet your needs and answer your questions.
After completing the application steps, you’ll meet with an academic adviser, who will help you choose classes that meet your degree or certificate requirements and fit into your busy lifestyle and budget. And then, you’ll be on your way to the career you’ve always dreamed about!
We know that college can be expensive. You’ll be pleased to know HCCC has the most affordable tuition in the area, making it the best value for your money. That’s why we enroll, on average, 2,500 new students each fall. Our qualified representatives work with students individually, helping to identify financial aid, employment and scholarship opportunities. More than 80 percent of our full-time students receive financial aid; some are able to fund 100 percent of their education and even receive refunds! We’re here to help you, to make sure HCCC is affordable for you.
On average, most of student HCCC tuition expenses are met through financial aid.
With flexible class times, a variety of degree programs and financial aid opportunities, HCCC offers you a world of possibilities!
