    • HCCC - NJCU Dual Admission: Save Time and Money ...
and Help Ensure Your Academic Success!

    • The Dual Admission Program (DAP) is a unique partnership between New Jersey City University and Hudson County Community College that provides students with a seamless pathway to earn quality, accessible, and affordable Associate and Bachelor's degrees.

Complete one joint application! This program is for you if you plan on pursuing your Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Geoscience, Health Sciences, Management, Mathematics, or Physics at NJCU.

There is nothing to lose and everything to gain by enrolling in the DAP. You will have many advantages not available to
non-DAP students. It is easy to enroll in the DAP - and it's free!

To qualify for the DAP, you must:

      1. Be a Hudson County Community College student who has completed at least 1 college level course and is in good academic standing.
      2. Complete your associate degree and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree immediately after graduating from HCCC.

Students who enroll in the DAP, complete the associate degree at HCCC, and transfer to NJCU, will be able to take advantage of many program benefits, including the following:

      • Guaranteed admission to NJCU. Some academic programs, such as nursing and education, have limited enrollment
      • Enjoy privileges of being an NJCU student as well, including access to both institutions’ libraries, and admittance to an array of HCCC and NJCU cultural and athletic activities
      • Plan your courses from the very first semester to allow for the maximum transfer credits possible and to accelerate the completion of your undergraduate education
      • Students with a 3.5 GPA or above are eligible for Transfer Scholarships at NJCU. Further information can be found here
      • Personalized advising to develop a plan to complete your degrees in the shortest amount of time possible
